About The Position
Altera is seeking a Senior M365 Collaboration Engineer to design, administer, and optimize SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive services. This role enables effective team collaboration and content management across the semiconductor company's global workforce, supporting governance, migrations, and platform integrations.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in SharePoint Online administration, site architecture, and permission management
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration including policies, apps, and governance
- Experience with OneDrive for Business administration and sync client management
- Proficiency with M365 Admin Center, SharePoint Admin Center, and PowerShell
- Knowledge of M365 governance policies including external sharing, guest access, and data retention
- Experience with SharePoint and Teams migrations using tools such as ShareGate or Microsoft SPMT
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) for collaboration workflow automation
- Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages
- Experience with Teams Phone and MS Operator Connect services
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) conference equipment and services
- Familiarity with Microsoft Viva suite including Viva Connections and Viva Engage
- Knowledge of Copilot for Microsoft 365 deployment and governance
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field
Responsibilities
- Administer and configure SharePoint Online site collections, hubs, permissions, and information architecture
- Manage Microsoft Teams environments including team provisioning, governance policies, and lifecycle management
- Implement and maintain OneDrive for Business configurations, sync policies, and storage management
- Develop SharePoint solutions, Power Automate workflows, and Teams app integrations
- Establish and enforce M365 collaboration governance including guest access, external sharing, and data classification
- Support migration of on-premises SharePoint and file shares to SharePoint Online and OneDrive
- Monitor collaboration platform health and resolve issues with Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive services
- Train and support end users and champions on collaboration platform features and best practices
