JFrog•Atlanta, GA
•$190,000 - $205,000•Hybrid

About The Position

The Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial is based in JFrog’s Atlanta office and serves as a trusted deal partner to the sales team. The role joins deals early, gives account teams clear and practical guidance, and escalates non-standard requests with recommendations. It coordinates with compliance, finance, export control, product, security, and other experts to help close deals on time. The position negotiates directly with enterprise and public sector customers and drafts, reviews, and negotiates SaaS, self-hosted, subscription, order form, reseller, partner, and NDA agreements. It advises sales leadership on liability limits, indemnities, intellectual property and AI-related terms; handles customer privacy requests and negotiates DPAs; and advises on obligations under CCPA/CPRA and other US state privacy laws. The role works with the security team on security, resilience, and incident-related customer requirements, including information security and DORA addenda, NIS2 flow-down terms, audit rights, and breach notification, cooperation, and liability terms. It also supports government and state customer deals, including contract terms involving FedRAMP, CMMC, and secure software development attestations, and works with government channel partners and internal experts. To improve deal velocity, the Senior Legal Counsel turns recurring customer requests into templates, playbooks, approved fallback positions, and self-service resources so routine deals can close without legal review. JFrog describes its working arrangement as hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote. Compensation includes a base salary range of $190,000–$205,000, an RSU equity package, and eligibility to participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. The company also offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness benefits.
