About The Position

This role is part of DLB Associates’ Mission Critical Department, with a primary focus on hyperscale data centers and related mission critical facilities. The Senior Lead Electrical Engineer oversees full-cycle electrical design for commercial building design and construction, collaborates with design staff and organizational leadership, develops and edits project specifications, and leads design development efforts. The role operates with substantial independence, leads complex projects and broader programs, coordinates other personnel, and assists with developing policies and procedures. The position leads electrical engineering design, construction activities, client and stakeholder relations, and organizational development. It serves as a technical authority on complex mission critical electrical infrastructure projects; provides technical oversight and quality assurance across concurrent projects; and guides project teams from conceptual design through construction documents and closeout. The role may serve as a primary client contact or Client Program Manager and supports business development and marketing. It also promotes the effective use of digital tools and AI-enabled technologies to improve workflows, project controls, documentation, and quality while aligning solutions with DLB’s security, privacy, and operational standards. This position is remote and may require travel of up to 10% to locations across the United States. The employee must be able to meet the role’s physical demands, including frequently remaining stationary and moving through office, facility, and other environments; occasionally moving equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
