About The Position

NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Engineer to design and build robust software for accelerated computing systems. The role involves solving challenging technical problems, contributing to architecture decisions, improving engineering practices, and collaborating with partners across NVIDIA. The engineer will build and maintain software systems that combine hardware, software, workload, and deployment assumptions to evaluate data-center-level power, total cost of ownership (TCO), and performance trade-offs. They will contribute to software design decisions through prototyping and solution evaluation, strengthen engineering quality through testing and operational practices, define interfaces with other teams, resolve complex technical issues, and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing. The position calls for an analytical, adaptable engineer with substantial programming experience and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. An MS or PhD is preferred. The role offers a base salary range of $184,000–$287,500 for Level 4 or $224,000–$356,500 for Level 5, depending on location, experience, and pay for similar positions. The employee is also eligible for equity and benefits. Applications will be accepted at least until October 31, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
