About The Position

Lantern is the specialty care platform connecting people with the best care when they need it most. By curating a Network of Excellence comprised of the nation's top specialists for surgery, cancer care, infusions and more, Lantern delivers excellent care with significant cost savings to employers and their workforces. Lantern also pairs members with a dedicated care team, including Care Advocates and nurses, for the entirety of their care journey, helping them get back to good health, back to their families and back to work. With convenient access to specialists nationwide, Lantern means quality care is within driving distance for most. Lantern is trusted by the nation's largest employers to deliver care to more than 6 million members across the country. The Commercial Strategy & Operations (CSO) team supports the President and his broader go-to-market function, including Employer Sales, Employer Client Success, Marketing, Clinical and Partnerships. CSO is responsible for Commercial strategy, planning, insights, process, tools, and data. This role sits within CSO and serves the Commercial organization, partnering closely with the Commercial Leadership Team. Reporting to the VP of Commercial Strategy & Operations, the Senior Lead of Commercial Planning & Compensation translates Lantern's growth ambitions into the operating plan for the Commercial organization. This role owns the full planning and compensation cycle: OKRs, coverage and capacity models, compensation plans, quotas, and functional plans. The individual ensures every Commercial team member understands their goals, the rationale behind them, and their compensation structure. This role works closely with the Commercial Leadership Team and Finance, building and defending analytical models that support Lantern's growth strategy. Additionally, the role develops Board materials, maintains and improves long-term planning models, and ensures accuracy in commissions. The work directly shapes how the company allocates energy, reports progress to the board, and delivers care to millions of members.
