About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technologist for its Central Labs at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, New York. The position conducts routine and complex tests on clinical specimens across laboratory areas including blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and microbiology. The technologist performs quality control procedures as required by policy, documents results, and follows up on out-of-range results.

This is a full-time, onsite day-shift position scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including rotating weekends and holidays. The location is across from the Metro-North station. A competitive sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available, and new graduates are eligible; experiential bonuses are commensurate with experience. The stated salary range is $53.15–$66.65 per hour.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or another health-science-related field.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license from the New York State Education Department.

Nice To Haves

• ASCP certification.
• Two to three years of experience.
