Senior Laboratory Technologist – Central Labs – Days –Competitive Sign-on Bonus
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technologist for its Central Labs at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, New York. The role involves conducting routine and complex tests on clinical specimens across laboratory areas including blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and microbiology. The technologist performs quality control procedures as required by policy, documents test results, and follows up on out-of-range results. This is a full-time day-shift position, scheduled 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. The position requires on-site presence. A competitive sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered; new graduates are eligible, and the experiential bonus is commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or another health-science-related field.
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license from the New York State Education Department.
Nice To Haves
- ASCP certification.
- Two to three years of experience.
