About The Position
The Senior Laboratory Assistant at Providence Mission-Laguna Beach Hospital in Laguna Beach, California, collects and processes blood specimens and provides assessment and care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric inpatients, emergency room patients, and patients from other hospital services as needed. The role also assists with outpatient specimen collection and processing as needed, inoculates microbiology specimens onto primary media, and processes specimens for referral testing. The position requires proficiency in required competencies. The role is per diem and works 8-hour night shifts. Requirements
- Upon hire, hold a California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License or California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License.
