About The Position

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC Consultant for a 6-month, on-site contract engagement in Raleigh, North Carolina, supporting a global technology services firm. The consultant will manage and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments, perform upgrades and deployments, maintain system performance and availability, and support cloud-hosted JDE infrastructure. The contract is W2 through ZipStaff; C2C and 1099 arrangements are not accepted. The role covers day-to-day JDE CNC administration, environment installation and maintenance, package and update deployments, Tools Release upgrades, and administration of JDE servers and supporting infrastructure. It also includes production support, performance and security administration, high availability and disaster recovery activities, coordination with Oracle Support, and maintenance of technical documentation. The consultant will identify opportunities to automate processes using JDE Orchestrator and AI technologies.

Requirements

At least 8 years of hands-on experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC Administration.
Proven expertise in JDE Tools Release upgrades, package builds and deployments, ESU/ASU deployment, and Path Code and OCM configuration.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Database, and Oracle WebLogic.
Experience administering AIS, HTML, Enterprise, and Deployment Servers.
Strong production support, performance tuning, security administration, and high availability/disaster recovery skills.
Ability to manage incident, problem, and change processes.
Ability to work on-site in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Nice To Haves

Experience with JDE Orchestrator, AIS integrations, Business Services (BSSV), REST APIs/Web Services, or third-party application integrations.
Background in cloud migration or modernization of JDE environments.
Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry experience, or GxP validation in regulated environments.
Familiarity with AI-enabled process automation.
Project planning, governance, risk, schedule, and change management experience.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC administration.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot JDE environments.
Manage package builds, deployments, ESUs, ASUs, and application updates.
Perform environment creation, cloning, refresh, and Path Code/OCM configuration.
Plan, implement, validate, and troubleshoot JDE Tools Release upgrades.
Manage and support JDE environments hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Administer Enterprise Server, Deployment Server, HTML Server, AIS Server, and WebLogic.
Monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and troubleshoot production issues.
Support backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery activities.
Manage JDE security, users, and role configurations.
Coordinate with Oracle Support on Service Requests and issue resolution.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Identify automation opportunities using JDE Orchestrator and AI technologies.
