Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and Ten (10) years of progressive software engineering experience focused on Java/J2EE enterprise application development.
OR
High School Diploma/GED and Fourteen (14) years of progressive software engineering experience focused on Java/J2EE enterprise application development.
Expert-level experience designing, developing, and supporting large-scale, mission-critical, cloud-native enterprise applications.
Deep expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, and Event-Driven Systems.
Proven experience architecting and delivering high-volume, highly available, distributed systems in public cloud environments, preferably AWS.
Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions, including. Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents and orchestration frameworks.
Experience building and integrating AI-powered enterprise platforms and intelligent automation solutions.
Experience with multi-cloud architectures and deployments across. AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Advanced experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
Expertise with AWS services including. S3, RDS PostgreSQL, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, IAM, SNS/SQS
Strong experience designing and implementing solutions using both SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning, scalability, resiliency, and data architecture patterns.
Expertise with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch in large-scale distributed environments.
Experience designing and supporting highly available, horizontally scalable data platforms leveraging Cassandra and other distributed database technologies.
Expertise with asynchronous processing, event streaming, and messaging platforms, including Apache Kafka.
Experience implementing modern DevOps and CI/CD practices using.Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including. Secure coding, Test automation, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Observability and monitoring, Performance optimization, Reliability engineering
Proven experience leading architecture reviews, defining technical roadmaps, and driving engineering excellence across multiple teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to executive, business, product, and engineering audiences
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

This position requires the successful candidate to be eligible to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and meet all applicable government access requirements.
Healthcare industry experience with familiarity in HL7, FHIR, X12, EMR/EHR integrations, HIPAA-compliant systems.
Experience designing healthcare interoperability platforms and high-volume transaction processing systems
Experience with object storage technologies, including MinIO
Expertise with distributed messaging and streaming technologies, including Kafka and event-driven architectures
Experience implementing enterprise security frameworks, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and Zero Trust principles
Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
Experience working within Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery environments
Demonstrated ability to mentor senior engineers, lead cross-functional teams, and provide technical leadership for strategic initiatives
Proven track record of influencing architecture decisions and delivering innovative solutions that improve scalability, reliability, security, performance, and operational efficiency

Drive innovation, modernization, cloud transformation, and AI adoption strategies
Partner with product, architecture, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver business-critical solutions
Champion engineering excellence, operational maturity, resiliency, and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead complex technical initiatives from concept through production deployment while balancing business objectives, scalability, security, and maintainability requirements
Corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
