About The Position

Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) – New Product Introduction (NPI) connects Honeywell’s Integrated Supply Chain with product development functions, including Engineering, Program Management, and Strategic Business Units. AME participates in new product development programs to help achieve product cost, capability, and producibility targets by evaluating designs, suppliers, product costs, factories, manufacturing process capability, and manufacturing yield. Knowledge of Honeywell Aerospace processes for Integrated Product Delivery and Support (IPDS), Flawless Launch, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) is required. This opportunity supports mechanical aerospace component design and the development of high-voltage controllers, manufacturing of circuit card assemblies, and transition into production. The position requires on-site presence at Honeywell’s facility in Tempe, Arizona. The role leads supplier engagement, design for manufacturing, implementation of manufacturing techniques, readiness and cost management, production readiness, and transitions to production. It also supports program scheduling, planning, budgeting, milestones, metrics, and status presentations, while contributing to AME HOS activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, Program Management, or Integrated Supply Chain.
  • Must be a U.S. person, defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

  • Product knowledge in circuit card design and assembly, valves, pumps, and actuators.
  • Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings and assess manufacturing capability.
