About The Position

Build Java Spring Boot microservices to modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices architecture, AWS-native technologies, and modern CI/CD. The role develops Spring REST services that filter and select complex data, implements CI/CD with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps, and delivers software as part of an Agile team. The position is on-site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Applicants must live within commuting distance.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or a master's degree plus at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with MongoDB, OpenSearch, or other document stores.
• Experience with AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Development experience in a cloud environment.
• Currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; new clearances and clearance upgrades are not sponsored.
• Live within commuting distance of Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and be able to work on-site.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, and S3.
