As an Senior IT Systems Engineer, you play a key role in connecting our IT capabilities with Huntress's evolving business needs, helping us think strategically about technology and how it can help our business scale and grow. Your work involves building strong partnerships across our business units, understanding their unique goals and challenges, and serving as a knowledgeable guide for their technology solutions. Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of progressive experience in IT systems engineering and administration, with increasing ownership of enterprise platforms and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft-centric identity and endpoint management, ideally including Intune and Entra ID (or comparable tools), in support of Windows and macOS environments.
  • Strong experience administering and optimizing SaaS productivity platforms, especially Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation, such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, to streamline administration, enforce standards, and integrate systems.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end implementations, including technical design, execution, stakeholder communication, and successful operational handoff.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable IT solutions that align with business priorities in a remote, cloud-first environment.
  • Serve as the technical owner for MDM, IdP/IAM, and core productivity platforms, including Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve endpoint and identity capabilities, including device management, compliance, SSO, conditional access, and role-based access controls.
  • Drive automation across MDM, identity, and SaaS administration using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) and APIs to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and minimize operational risk.
  • Partner with IT Operations and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solution designs, rollout plans, and clear operational documentation.
  • Establish and maintain standards for configuration, monitoring, and change management across endpoint, identity, and SaaS platforms.
