About The Position

We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to support infrastructure, cloud environments, and compliance-driven system operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• 7+ years of systems engineering experience
• Strong experience with Azure, M365, and hybrid environments
• Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
• Experience with PowerShell and automation

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Architect
• Security+ or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering and administration across on-prem and cloud environments
• Manage Microsoft 365 / Entra ID , including MFA and conditional access
• Evaluate and improve IT architecture and configurations
• Ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST requirements
• Implement STIG baselines and security configurations
• Manage patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation
• Install and maintain servers, storage, and network systems
• Develop disaster recovery and backup strategies
• Support security tools such as EDR and compliance baselines
• Maintain system documentation and SOPs
