The Application Services Division of Technology Services is looking to fill two positions for the Senior IT Systems Analyst role. This individual should be a proactive, strategic, forward thinker who can align project deliverables with the overall strategy of the Technology Services division. We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst to support Workday and other City applications to serve as strategic bridge between the business departments and technical execution. You will partner with departments across Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable system requirements. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, curious, and eager to improve processes and technology across the City. We are seeking another Senior IT Systems Analyst to support our Life Cycle Management and Modernization initiatives. We are looking for a proactive, strategic thinker who can align project deliverables with TS’s long-term technology strategy. In this role, you will partner with multiple departments to maintain operational stability, reduce risk, and accelerate modernization of aging and high‑risk systems. You will empower agencies with sustainable best practices, modern technologies, and improved operational capabilities. You will engage closely with departments, end users, TS technical staff, and vendors to identify and prioritize needs, coordinate immediate fixes for high‑risk systems, and support migration efforts for critical applications. Strong communication, business and analysis skills, and the ability to deliver clear, actionable requirements are essential. You will also manage service requests and occasional incidents within standard SLAs, collaborating with customers and vendors to quickly resolve issues and drive solutions for new initiatives and recurring challenges.This role involves learning department-specific processes, supporting team members, creating system and integration requirements in Azure DevOps (ADO), coordinating testing activities, and assisting with production support as needed. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, comfort working in both independent and collaborative environments, and a passion for solving problems through smart technology solutions.
