About The Position

Supports the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems by monitoring incidents, analyzing issues, and translating business requirements into functional specifications. Ensures operational stability and alignment with LUMA’s IT architecture by validating system changes, evaluating solutions, and collaborating with technical and business teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience supporting enterprise application systems or related technology platforms
  • Experience analyzing business processes and translating them into functional/technical requirements.
  • Experience managing service requests, incidents, and system tickets.
  • Experience working with system integrations and troubleshooting integration exceptions.
  • Experience supporting implementations or configuration changes in enterprise systems.
  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.
  • High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 5 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.

  • Implementing or supporting Workforce Management or Field Service Management solutions (e.g., Hitachi Service Suite, ClickSoftware, SAP FSM) preferred.
  • Exposure to Asset Management systems (e.g., Hitachi Asset Suite, Maximo, SAP PM) and asset lifecycle processes preferred.
  • Working with ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite) and related financial workflows preferred.
  • Experience in industries with complex field operations such as utilities, telecom, energy, or construction preferred.
  • Familiarity with GIS integration for location-based asset and crew management preferred.
  • Supporting mobile workforce enablement and offline capabilities for field crews preferred.
  • Knowledge of system integration technologies (APIs, middleware like Oracle SOA Suite or MuleSoft) preferred.
  • Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Oracle BI) preferred.
  • Understanding of IT Service Management processes (ITIL framework) preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., cost allocation, budgeting, capital vs. O&M expenses) preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment models (Oracle Cloud, SaaS solutions) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills for cross-functional projects preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and triages system incidents, errors, and alerts to ensure business continuity.
  • Analyzes and resolves tickets related to system issues, process errors, and integration exceptions to maintain stable and reliable operations.
  • Leads the translation of business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications, contributing to the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives based on user needs and business processes.
  • Collaborates with teams and third-party vendors to validate solution alignment with architectural standards and organizational requirements.
  • Conducts business process analysis to identify improvement opportunities and enhance the efficiency of enterprise systems.
  • Validates and tests system changes, patches, and enhancements before production deployment.
  • Documents functional requirements, system configurations, and process changes to maintain accurate records.
  • Supports end users and business stakeholders by addressing system inquiries and troubleshooting issues to promote effective system utilization.
  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
