About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Contracts & Vendor Management Consultant for a 12-month engagement supporting an Information Technology organization in Ventura, California. This is a senior-level role for someone with substantial experience reviewing, negotiating, and managing complex technology contracts and vendor relationships. The consultant will work closely with IT leadership, legal, procurement, finance, and external vendors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in contract management, vendor management, procurement, legal review, or a closely related field
• 5+ years directly drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex technology agreements
• Strong knowledge of IT contracting terms, software licensing, commercial terms, intellectual property, risk allocation, and vendor management
• Demonstrated experience working with SaaS agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and SLAs
• Strong negotiation, analytical, written communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple contract reviews and vendor matters

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline
• CPCM, CFCM, CRCP, or similar contract-management certification
• Experience supporting enterprise IT organizations
• Healthcare technology contracting experience
• Experience with Oracle Health / Cerner contracts or SOWs is highly desirable but not required

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate complex IT agreements, including: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Software licensing and related technology agreements
• Manage vendor relationships throughout the contract lifecycle
• Review contract terms, deliverables, acceptance criteria, pricing, and risk
• Monitor vendor performance, KPIs, SLAs, renewals, and contractual obligations
• Support cost negotiations, budget tracking, and financial review of vendor deliverables
• Identify contractual, commercial, operational, and financial risks
• Coordinate contract issues across IT, legal, procurement, finance, executive stakeholders, and vendors
• Assist with dispute resolution, remediation, and vendor performance issues when needed
