About The Position

Optiveum is recruiting and contracting a Senior IT Automation Tester for a global client in the banking industry. The position focuses on owning and scaling automated test suites in a C# / .NET 8 solution, primarily for database-driven systems, and keeping test pipelines running smoothly. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) and hybrid, with up to 60% of work from the office, in Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warsaw. The cooperation agreement will be signed directly with Optiveum. The stated rate is up to 135 PLN per hour on a B2B basis.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of test automation experience on .NET stacks using C#.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with NUnit and test runners.
• CI/CD automation experience with Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Fluent Git knowledge, code review practices, and experience maintaining test pipelines.
• Strong failure-diagnostics and debugging skills.
• Openness to partially manual testing.
• Advanced English.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop, and scale automated test suites in a C# / .NET 8 solution.
• Design and maintain tests using NUnit and related test runners.
• Build and maintain automated test pipelines in Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Write and run SQL queries to validate data and test database-heavy functionality.
• Diagnose test failures, debug issues, and work with developers to identify root causes.
• Participate in code reviews and follow good Git practices.
• Support manual testing where needed.
