About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Senior ISR IQT Training Specialist to join their team at Grand Forks AFB, ND. This role is crucial for strengthening the Air Combat Command’s ISR mission by leading formal initial qualification training (IQT) for personnel supporting ISR operations at various levels. The specialist will be responsible for preparing course materials, developing training exercises, updating curriculum, delivering pre-mission briefings, and conducting academic testing. The training will cover critical ISR topics including platform fundamentals, Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment, and core Air Force mission sets.

Requirements

TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 14 years OR Master’s and 12 years of relevant experience.
Understanding of RQ4 and other Air Force ISR platforms, systems, tools, and processes
Instructor experience
Thorough understanding of Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment

Responsibilities

Lead formal initial qualification training (IQT) for personnel assigned to support platform- and weapon system-specific ISR operations.
Prepare course materials.
Develop training exercises.
Keep curriculum up to date with technology, system, or tool updates.
Deliver high-impact pre-mission briefings.
Deliver academic testing at close of training events.
Teach critical ISR topics including: ISR collection platform fundamentals (RADAR/IR theory, SIGINT, GEOINT, Special Payloads, Weapons Capabilities/employment and Threats), Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment, and introduction to core Air Force mission sets supported by the ISR community to include: Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Close Air Support, Combat Search and Rescue, Counter-land, Counter-Sea, and Strike Coordination and Reconnaissance.
