About The Position

This contract supports U.S. Central Command's theater-level planning mission by providing experienced professionals who develop strategies, campaign plans, operational orders, assessments, and coordination products that integrate military, interagency, allied, and partner-nation activities throughout the USCENTCOM area of responsibility. Provides senior Special Operations and Irregular Warfare planning expertise for sensitive activities, plans, courses of action, orders, concepts, and professional development support.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experience working in the Special Operations Enterprise.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of specialized experience in military or Intelligence Community compartmented or sensitive activities.
  • At least 7 years of direct SOF and/or IW experience at a Joint or Geographic Combatant Command headquarters.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Skills, knowledge, training, current certifications, and licenses necessary to perform the assigned PWS services.
  • Common Access Card eligibility and completion of required Information Assurance training and the USCENTCOM Staff Officer Orientation Course before network access.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 4 years of experience with SOF, Special Mission Units, or Special or Technical Units of federal, state, or local law enforcement.
  • Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans, COAs, FRAGOs, orders, CONOPs, and MICONs and align SOF and IW support to USCENTCOM priorities.
  • Write, review, and edit IW-related documents.
  • Coordinate and synchronize full-spectrum special operations in joint, multinational, and interagency contexts.
  • Advise on SOF employment in support of IW and solve complex operational and strategic problems.
  • Synchronize SOF planning and execution across DoD, interagency, allied, coalition, and multinational activities in the USCENTCOM AOR.
  • Provide expertise for current IW operations, other SOF and special activities, and professional-development subject matter expert coordination.
  • Coordinate FOIA requests and MDRs for designated CCJ5 files.
  • Safeguard classified and unclassified Government information, property, controlled forms, facilities, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain Government records separately from company records and comply with applicable federal records, FOIA, Privacy Act, DoD, and USCENTCOM requirements.
  • Perform work to the PWS quality standards and correct identified product deficiencies within applicable performance thresholds.
  • Support required contract deliverables and provide products to the designated government task lead, COR, or alternate COR through approved USCENTCOM channels.
