About The Position

This contract supports U.S. Central Command's theater-level planning mission by providing experienced professionals who develop strategies, campaign plans, operational orders, assessments, and coordination products that integrate military, interagency, allied, and partner-nation activities throughout the USCENTCOM area of responsibility. This position provides Special Operations and Irregular Warfare planning support for sensitive activities, cyber-related experience, plans, orders, concepts, and operational synchronization.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience working in the Special Operations Enterprise.
  • At least 2 years of specialized experience in military or Intelligence Community compartmented or sensitive activities, or cyber experience.
  • Associate’s degree.
  • At least 5 years of direct SOF and/or IW experience at a Joint or Geographic Combatant Command headquarters.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Skills, knowledge, training, current certifications, and licenses necessary to perform the assigned PWS services.
  • Common Access Card eligibility and completion of required Information Assurance training and the USCENTCOM Staff Officer Orientation Course before network access.
  • Minimum TS/SCI clearance must be possessed and maintained unless the applicable CLIN description expressly provides an exception.
  • Applicable positions may be subject to a counterintelligence polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years of experience with SOF, Special Mission Units, or Special or Technical Units of federal, state, or local law enforcement.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans, COAs, FRAGOs, orders, CONOPs, and MICONs and align SOF and IW support to USCENTCOM priorities.
  • Write, review, and edit IW-related documents.
  • Coordinate and synchronize full-spectrum special operations in joint, multinational, and interagency contexts.
  • Advise on SOF employment in support of IW and address complex operational and strategic challenges.
  • Synchronize planning and execution across DoD, interagency, allied, coalition, and multinational activities in the USCENTCOM AOR.
  • Provide expertise for current IW operations, other SOF and special activities, and professional-development SME coordination.
  • Coordinate FOIA requests and MDRs for designated CCJ5 files.
  • Safeguard classified and unclassified Government information, property, controlled forms, facilities, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain Government records separately from company records and comply with applicable federal records, FOIA, Privacy Act, DoD, and USCENTCOM requirements.
  • Perform work to the PWS quality standards and correct identified product deficiencies within applicable performance thresholds.
  • Support required contract deliverables and provide products to the designated government task lead, COR, or alternate COR through approved USCENTCOM channels.
