Senior Investment Sales Executive

Alumni Ventures•Menlo Park, CA
•$170,000 - $180,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Senior Investment Sales Executive plays a critical role in Alumni Ventures’ growth by converting prospective investors into first-time investors and creating a foundation for long-term relationships. Reporting to the EVP of Nurture Marketing within the Investor Conversion Pillar, this role owns inbound and warm prospect conversations from qualification through close. The executive identifies prospects’ motivations and venture-investment goals, then matches them with an appropriate Alumni Ventures offering, which may include a syndicate deal, Alumni Fund, Focused Fund, or Foundation Fund. This is a solution-selling role focused first on zero-to-one conversion: helping net-new prospects make their first AV investment. The executive also establishes trust and understanding that can support a long-term annual-allocation relationship, which the Relationship Management team will carry forward. The position works closely with Marketing and Nurture teams and contributes to coaching, call-quality standards, and performance practices as the Investor Conversion Pillar grows. Alumni Ventures describes its culture as five days per week in-office.
