About The Position

The Software Integration Engineer serves as the primary customer-facing operations point of contact for the mission customer. The role manages operational request triage, gathers and scopes complex technical requirements, and provides standby support for ad-hoc critical thinking and problem-solving requests. It combines hands-on Linux system administration, software integration, Big Data analytics frameworks, container orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation to support the mission continuously and maintain system reliability. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. The annual base salary range is $186,000–$220,000 USD, excluding discretionary bonus compensation and the benefits package. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and other factors.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Deep hands-on experience with the Linux CLI, service management, configuration management, provisioning, storage, and networking sustainment.
Strong proficiency writing Shell, Bash, and Python scripts for system automation and operational tasks.
Proven experience installing, configuring, and supporting COTS, GOTS, and FOSS software libraries and packages within Linux systems.
Direct experience managing stream and batch data processing using frameworks such as Apache Spark.
Hands-on experience with Docker and deploying and managing containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code principles and tools such as Ansible, alongside CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI.
Demonstrated expertise using monitoring and metrics visualization platforms, specifically Prometheus and Grafana.
Experience using Git for source code management, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows.
Either a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, plus 8 or more years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience; or a high school diploma/GED plus 13 or more years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.

Hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence for task tracking, issue management, and technical documentation.
