About The Position

Colonial Surety Company is seeking an experienced insurance sales professional motivated by compensation and achieving corporate objectives. This role offers a growth opportunity within the company, with the potential to lead and manage a corporate sales team across business and distribution channels, focusing on vertical initiatives, existing client relationships, and target markets. The Senior Insurance Sales Executive will assume a growth-focused role within the organization, with responsibility for driving revenue, managing sales initiatives, and supporting both existing and new business development efforts. This is a home office-based position that requires travel to meet with clients, attend conventions, and participate in industry seminars.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in commercial insurance sales to small and mid-sized businesses
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working for a medium-sized insurance agency
  • Licensed Insurance Agent
  • Strong product knowledge of: Professional Liability, General Liability, Business Owner’s Policy (BOP)
  • Familiarity with: EPLI, Cyber Liability, Directors & Officers (D&O), Fiduciary Liability
  • Experience working with agents, MGAs, and carriers/underwriting teams
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, Google Business Suite and CRM familiarity

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
