Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence others
  • Competitive, self-motivated mindset with a strong desire to achieve and exceed goals
  • Willingness to prospect, network, and actively pursue new business opportunities
  • Prior sales experience, particularly in a business-to-business or relationship-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred
  • Resident Property & Casualty Agent's License preferred, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Commercial Lines insurance product knowledge, preferred
  • Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, and/or AAI, or a demonstrated interest in pursuing them

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, hunt, and close new commercial insurance opportunities
  • Build, manage, and grow a commercial book of business over time
  • Learn to identify client risks and deliver tailored insurance and risk management solutions
  • Compete to achieve and exceed production goals, with performance directly tied to earnings
  • Collaborate with internal service, marketing, and carrier partners to win and retain business
  • Represent FNIC through networking, professional involvement, and community engagement
