Humana

About The Position

The Senior Insurance Product Manager serves as the product owner for assigned regional Medicare Advantage portfolios, connecting market and portfolio strategy to accurate bid filings, member-facing product content, and operational implementation. This collaborative individual-contributor role leads product execution through the annual Medicare Advantage lifecycle and serves as the primary Product Management contact for assigned markets and portfolios. The role leads bid filings, benefit configuration, service-area updates, crosswalks, plan lists, member materials, provider-directory oversight, and Annual Enrollment Period readiness. It partners with Actuarial, Finance, Network, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Market Leadership, Sales, Implementation, and other teams to ensure approved product decisions are accurately reflected across filings, systems, materials, and processes. The position evaluates product questions, identifies risks and opportunities, and develops recommendations that account for competitive, financial, regulatory, operational, network, and member considerations. The position operates independently within established Medicare Advantage, Product Management, regulatory, and enterprise strategies; owns complex deliverables from planning through completion; and coordinates cross-functional contributors without direct people-management responsibility. It reports to the Associate Director, Insurance Product Management. The annual regulatory cycle may require extended hours and occasional weekend work. This is a remote position with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings; home or hybrid employees must have a suitable internet connection and dedicated workspace to protect member information.
