About The Position

This is a senior-level, consultative instructional design role in the Organizational Development department. The position owns projects from the first stakeholder conversation through analysis, solution recommendation, design and development, launch, evaluation, and improvement. Requests may be incomplete or unclear; the role independently investigates the underlying business or performance problem, consults with people across the organization, and determines whether training is appropriate. Solutions may include eLearning, video, instructor-led or blended learning, job aids, facilitator materials, performance support, or practice activities. The designer supports work across safety, compliance, operations, onboarding, leadership development, and enterprise initiatives. They produce accurate, accessible, professional materials, assess whether solutions work in terms recognized by the business, research existing resources and external practices, and use AI where it can improve efficiency without making work generic. They manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and timelines while communicating progress and helping establish standards, templates, and practices for a growing Organizational Development function. The position is based 100% on-site at the corporate office in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with travel up to 25%. When the Learning Systems & Operations Specialist is unavailable, the role provides basic backup support for Paycom and JJ Keller learning systems, responds to requests in the Learning inbox, and facilitates New Employee Orientation as needed. The primary responsibility remains instructional design.
