About The Position

The role of the Senior Inside Sales Representative (ISR), Federal is to maximize the productivity of our Federal Enterprise Sales Teams. Primarily by partnering with and providing support to our team in addition to other Field Sales Coworkers. This position description is intended to convey information about the key responsibilities and requirements of the position. Requirements

Technology industry experience or 2+ years of sales experience (non-retail).
3-5 years’ experience as a CDW ISR or Sr. or Exec Account Manager.
Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, effective interpersonal skills, an energetic and enthusiastic individual.
Working knowledge of Office applications, SPS, AS400.
Demonstrate ability to multitask.
Confident with customer interactions.

Nice To Haves

College Degree
Prior experience in selling computer hardware, software, solutions or services is necessary.
3+ years of work experience within the Federal Sales segment.
Working knowledge of internal CDW systems (AS400 / SPS).
Capability and demonstrated willingness to train a new coworker or mentor an existing coworker.
Proven ability to undertake and successfully complete special projects.
Deep knowledge of products, configurations, requirements, and programs specific to the Federal Government.
Consistently and independently delivers quality work and receives a high customer satisfaction on annual ISR survey.
Professional, mature, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Prepares and distributes product configurations and customer quotes utilizing on-line tools.
Provides accurate and timely ordering of products via SPS and AS400 systems.
Direct interaction with customers to provide order status updates, quotes or other requests.
Ensure all government requirements are followed on orders (DPAS ratings, Due dates, contract requirements).
Ensure proper quote to order conversion for Federal customers.
Works closely with Federal Services and PM team on large projects. Responsible for order management on all rollouts.
Handles return merchandise authorizations.
Coordinate the scheduling of hardware with services.
Customer Service - Providing consistent status updates for orders, quotes or other requests.
To train and mentor new and existing coworkers.
Manage contract vehicles for specified customers.
Understand and maintain in depth knowledge of relevant products, contracts, or Federal requirements.
Utilize internal and external training opportunities to continually develop product knowledge and sales skills.
Complete Partner Product accreditation when applicable.
Build customer relations so you can be 2nd in command when the teams are traveling or out of the office.
Being proactive with providing pertinent information to a client that may affect their business.
Develop good working relationships with internal departments.
Have a high sense of urgency to go above and beyond to provide an extraordinary customer experience.
