About The Position

As an Infrastructure Engineer on Plaid’s Network Infrastructure team, you’ll own significant parts of the network that Plaid products depend on. You’ll plan and lead company-wide changes, such as upgrading the service mesh or modernizing older parts of the cloud network, and deliver them safely without disrupting customers. You’ll build tools that help product engineers work independently, strengthen network security and compliance boundaries, and investigate complex issues. The small, newly formed team offers an opportunity to contribute to its technical direction, with a path toward Staff-level scope. Plaid builds tools and experiences that developers use to create financial products, connecting thousands of companies and financial institutions with the apps and services people use. Its mission is to unlock financial freedom for everyone, and it seeks to build a diverse team committed to a more equitable financial ecosystem.
