About The Position
This is a permanent, onsite backfill position for a Senior Industrial Engineer in Trenton, SC. The role involves leading projects of diverse scope, supporting continuous improvement and automation, and optimizing production facilities and personnel utilization. The engineer will conduct various studies to improve operations and assist with facility planning and design. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for working with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years of related experience with a master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities
- Leads projects or processes of diverse scope while working independently with limited supervision
- Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals
- Supports continuous improvement and automation activities
- Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel
- Conducts cost, inventory, production control, and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods
- Assists manufacturing plant and facilities engineers with facility planning and design
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
