About The Position
This role focuses on the integration and testing of hardware and software systems. The engineer will be responsible for systems-level development testing, integration, and troubleshooting in a lab environment. The position requires a strong understanding of requirements verification and validation, and the ability to communicate project status effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline or related experience
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on systems-level development testing and integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions
- Experience with I&T integration and test
- Experience developing and executing system-level and HIL test procedures
- Strong understanding of requirements verification and validation processes
- Experience troubleshooting integrated HW/SW systems in a lab environment
- Ability to professionally communicate project status and collaborate on technical solutions with clients and peers
- Active Secret Clearance Required
- Ability to work onsite 100%
- Ability to Travel up to 25%
Nice To Haves
- Proficient with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Experience leading technical projects or mentoring junior engineers
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Familiarity with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools (Cameo, AADL)
- Experience with Signal Processing Implementation
- Experience communicating and documenting complex technical designs
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
