About The Position

Come join our Human Resources team as a Senior Human Resources Analyst! Waukesha County's Department of Administration is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Human Resources Analyst to join our collaborative and engaged Human Resource team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR services to assigned County departments and serve as a trusted business partner and resource for managers, supervisors and employees. Responsibilities include employee relations, recruitment and selection, workplace investigations, classification and compensation, policy and procedure interpretation, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment and labor laws. The ideal candidate will bring broad human resource generalist experience and thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities. Success in this role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, sound judgement, a collaborative approach, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, labor or industrial relations, business or public administration, social sciences, or a closely related field.
  • Two (2) years of professional work experience in human resources administration including employment, wage and salary administration, labor relations, training, employee learning and development, organizational development, or a closely related field, preferably in the public sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound judgement.
  • Collaborative approach.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree from a recognized college or university in an area listed above may be substituted for one (1) year of the work experience requirement.
