About The Position

The Senior HSE Manager provides senior health, safety, and environmental leadership across Ramboll Americas’ EPC/EPCM project portfolio. The role supports safe delivery of complex engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning, and turnover activities. It establishes consistent HSE governance, aligns contractors and project teams, supports high-risk work planning, and enables effective execution across concurrent projects. The position requires substantial hands-on experience in large-scale EPC/EPCM construction environments and the ability to work at both strategic and field-execution levels. The role leads a portfolio-wide HSE approach, advises Project Directors and EPC/EPCM leadership, and translates Ramboll’s HSE program into practical project-level controls and leadership routines. It defines scalable HSE organization structures and execution plans, coordinates contractor and multi-party HSE expectations, and provides governance and assurance for risk management and high-risk activities. The manager also supports incident response and investigations, conducts site visits and assurance reviews, promotes safety culture, oversees regulatory and client compliance, and establishes consistent performance reporting. The position offers a remote option, with regular travel to project locations. Applicants must already be authorized to work full time in the United States; sponsorship is unavailable.
