About The Position

The Senior HSE Manager provides senior health, safety, and environmental leadership across Ramboll Americas’ EPC/EPCM project portfolio. The role supports safe delivery of complex engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning, and turnover activities by establishing consistent HSE governance, aligning contractors and project teams, supporting high-risk work planning, and enabling effective execution across concurrent projects. The position combines strategic leadership with practical field-based support and requires substantial experience in large-scale EPC/EPCM construction environments. The role leads portfolio-wide HSE standards and scalable processes, advises Project Directors and EPC/EPCM leadership, and translates Ramboll’s HSE program into practical project behaviours, controls, and leadership routines. It establishes HSE organization structures, execution plans, construction readiness expectations, and clear responsibilities across Ramboll, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. It also aligns contractor performance, embeds HSE requirements into procurement and contracting, and provides governance and assurance for project risk management and high-risk work. The Senior HSE Manager conducts site visits, audits, leadership engagements, and assurance reviews; supports incident investigations and lessons learned; promotes safety culture and continuous improvement; oversees regulatory and contractual compliance; and establishes consistent performance reporting. The position has a remote option, requires regular travel to project locations, and requires current authorization to work full-time in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
