About The Position

Legora is hiring a Senior HRIS Analyst to help build and operate the HR platform supporting its global People operations. The role will work with external partners and internal teams to design, configure, test, and release a reliable, secure, and continuously improving platform for a growing global workforce. It combines hands-on enterprise HRIS expertise with knowledge of People processes, translating business requirements into practical system solutions. The analyst will own defined implementation workstreams from requirements through release, manage plans and dependencies, configure and administer the HRIS, and support accurate employee data through mapping, validation, reconciliation, and quality controls. The role also owns functional testing and release coordination, supports users and troubleshooting, and identifies ways to improve workflows, self-service, and operational efficiency. The position offers the opportunity to shape Legora’s global People technology foundation as the company scales. The role is based in an in-person Union Square office, with collaboration across Europe, APAC, and North America.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with an enterprise HRIS, including platform support, configuration, testing, data work, and releases.
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements for HR system changes and translating them into configuration and test plans.
  • Strong Core HCM knowledge, including business processes, organisational structures, security, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes in a global organisation, including translating HR requirements into system configurations and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high standard for data accuracy, system reliability, and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain complex system concepts clearly.
  • Track record of owning a workstream within a larger project or change programme.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach, including comfort with detailed work, challenging assumptions, and taking problems through to resolution.
  • Fluency in English, the company’s working language.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with integrations between an HRIS and other systems, such as payroll, ATS, IT provisioning, or finance; this may include requirements definition, data mapping, testing, or troubleshooting failed syncs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with external partners on HRIS solution design, configuration, testing, and release, challenging design decisions to ensure the platform works for Legora long term.
  • Own defined HRIS implementation sub-streams from requirements through release, including stakeholder discovery, documentation of requirements and decisions, and management of plans, risks, and dependencies.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize the HRIS, including business processes, organisational structures, security, approvals, and employee lifecycle transactions.
  • Run requirements-gathering workshops with People, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Translate People requirements into effective system configurations and workflows; partner with functional experts to simplify and standardize processes and develop scalable solutions.
  • Support data mapping, validation, and reconciliation across People systems; establish controls and quality checks with People Operations and other data owners.
  • Own functional testing for system changes, coordinate user acceptance testing, support releases, assess downstream impacts, maintain documentation, and ensure safe deployment of changes.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, investigate root causes, and support users.
