About The Position

This role provides comprehensive HR support across various departments and shifts, focusing on daily HR operations, employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, and continuous improvement. The Senior HR Generalist will coach leaders, conduct investigations, manage full-cycle recruiting, and contribute to strategic HR initiatives, with opportunities for long-term leadership development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Experience in recruiting, employee relations, coaching leaders, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with hourly employees, supervisors, and leadership teams.
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily HR support to hourly and salaried employees across departments and shifts.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and confidentiality standards.
  • Support payroll coordination, employee transactions, and HRIS updates.
  • Coach supervisors and managers on attendance, discipline, performance management, investigations, documentation, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct prompt, fair, and thorough employee relations investigations.
  • Build trust and credibility through visible floor presence and responsive support.
  • Support a culture of accountability, communication, and respect.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly, skilled trades, and salaried positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and staffing priorities.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and retention initiatives.
  • Build external recruiting pipelines with schools, trade programs, and community partners.
  • Assist employees with benefits questions, enrollments, and life event changes.
  • Support open enrollment activities and employee education.
  • Coordinate leave administration including FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and related processes.
  • Analyze turnover, attendance, hiring, and retention trends.
  • Recommend process improvements and practical HR solutions.
  • Participate in special projects involving engagement, training, succession planning, and workforce strategy.
  • Gradually assume expanded responsibilities aligned with long-term leadership development.
