About The Position

Join Chase Home Lending as a Senior Home Lending Advisor and serve as customers’ primary point of contact throughout the life of their loans. You will use your knowledge of home lending products to guide clients toward homeownership, while working with a team that shares expertise in this specialty. The role includes marketing and promoting Chase financial products in compliance with regulatory requirements and offers the opportunity to contribute to the business and develop your career.

You will partner with retail branches and bankers, support and coach branch teams, develop customer relationships, and use consultative skills to recommend products based on customers’ financial needs and circumstances. The position is subject to federal requirements for loan originators, including review of criminal conviction history and credit information and NMLS registration under the SAFE Act.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
• At least 3 years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
• Knowledge of the local real estate market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
• Subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, including review of criminal conviction history.
• Subject to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator qualification requirements, including review of criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant information; a felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies candidates.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008, with successful registration immediately after the start date and timely annual renewal and updates.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor branch teams by providing training on products and services.
• Work with bankers, meet their customers, and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
• Collaborate with the team to create an outstanding customer experience using marketing and lead-generation efforts, including centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-selling, relocation and statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, and outbound lead sourcing.
• Build a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations in footprint territories, and work effectively within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
• Serve as an internal and external mortgage expert and maintain good customer relationships.
• Use consultative skills to make recommendations based on financial analysis and expertise, product knowledge, and customers’ financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase financial products.
• Register with or update registration in the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), and maintain compliance with SAFE Act requirements.
