About The Position

Join Chase Home Lending as a Senior Home Lending Advisor and serve as customers’ chief point of contact throughout the life of their loans, using your home lending expertise while working with a team that supports clients pursuing homeownership. You will adhere to regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase financial products and have the opportunity to contribute to the business and grow your career.

The role partners with branch teams and bankers to educate customers, promote mortgage originations, and connect clients with additional financial products and services. It requires consultative recommendations grounded in financial analysis, product knowledge, and understanding of customers’ financial needs, goals, and circumstances.

Employment is contingent on applicable criminal-history and financial-responsibility reviews and compliance with loan-originator qualification requirements. The position requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry under the SAFE Act, with continued employment dependent on maintaining compliance and completing required renewals and updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
• At least 3 years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
• Knowledge of the local real estate market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
• Compliance with applicable loan-originator qualification requirements and the SAFE Act, including NMLS registration.
• Employment offer is contingent on review of criminal conviction history; the posting states that a felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies candidates.
• Continued employment is contingent on demonstrating financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position, and on maintaining required loan-originator compliance.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor branch team members by providing training on products and services.
• Work with bankers, meet their customers, and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
• Collaborate with the team to create an outstanding customer experience using marketing and lead-generation efforts, including direct mail, media advertisements, cross-selling, relocation and statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, and outbound lead sourcing.
• Build a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations in in-footprint territories, and work effectively within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
• Serve as an internal and external mortgage expert and maintain good customer relationships.
• Provide consultative recommendations based on financial analysis and expertise, product knowledge, and an understanding of customers’ financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase financial products.
• Register with or update registration in the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, and complete required renewals and updates.
