About The Position

WM is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator III to work at a recycling facility or in a shop or field setting. The operator uses heavy equipment requiring a high level of skill, including bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders, to support the company’s operations. The role follows strict safety procedures and operating guidelines. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some weekends. The stated starting pay is $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and be able to work independently.
• Communicate effectively and support colleagues.
• Be able to problem-solve independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance, and maintain accurate records.
• Move and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
