•$75,000 - $80,000•Hybrid

About The Position

The Senior Health Care Recruiter is a mid-to-senior-level, full-cycle talent acquisition professional responsible for attracting, engaging, assessing, and selecting clinical talent, particularly physicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, nurse managers, medical assistants, and other hard-to-fill health care professionals. The recruiter serves as a consultative partner to the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Directors, nursing and clinical operations leaders, and hiring managers, translating workforce needs into focused sourcing and hiring strategies. The position requires knowledge of clinical labor markets, provider recruitment, credential-sensitive hiring, and community health care. The successful candidate has an established professional network, prior agency recruiting experience, active candidate pipelines, and experience recruiting for Federally Qualified Health Centers, hospitals, health systems, or similarly complex clinical environments. Success is measured by recruitment quality and speed, hiring-manager partnership, candidate experience, pipeline strength, compliance, and progress toward agreed recruitment goals. The role is based in New York City with a hybrid work arrangement, subject to organizational and departmental requirements. It involves regular use of a computer, telephone, video-conferencing platforms, and standard office equipment, as well as local travel among Housing Works sites and occasional recruitment or professional events, including events outside standard business hours when needed. Housing Works was founded in 1990 and has a long-term commitment to AIDS advocacy. Its services include harm-reduction-based outpatient drug treatment, Health Home care management, behavioral health, and syringe exchange programs. Housing Works also operates thrift shops and a bookstore cafe and advocates for funding and legislation to help ensure access to housing, healthcare, HIV prevention, and treatment for people living with HIV/AIDS.
