About The Position

Airwallex is hiring a Senior GTM Partnerships Manager to join the Canada team. We’re looking for someone with strong sales instincts, a builder mindset, and the ability to move fast. You’ll play a key role in building Airwallex’s partnerships motion in Canada by identifying the right partners, setting the strategy, and driving revenue. This is a chance to help shape the function, grow the Airwallex brand in market, and have real ownership over outcomes. This is a senior sales role within partnerships. You’ll help define the partnerships strategy for Canada and own the partner lifecycle end-to-end, from sourcing and pitching to activation, pipeline creation, and revenue generation. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, strategy, and cross-functional teams to build partnerships into a meaningful growth channel for Airwallex in Canada. This role is hybrid, based in Toronto.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or sales
  • Strong network in Canada across ecommerce, tech, or other relevant commercial ecosystems
  • Strong background in sales and commercial ownership
  • Track record of driving commercial outcomes, hitting quotas, and turning partnerships into revenue
  • Experience launching, building, or scaling partnerships in a new market with a high degree of autonomy
  • High urgency, strong ownership, and a bias for action

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fintech, ecommerce, tech, or a high-growth startup environment
  • Strong understanding of adjacent ecosystems relevant to Airwallex and how to turn them into commercial opportunities
  • Bilingual (French is an asset)

Responsibilities

  • Own and shape the partnerships strategy for Canada, identifying the right partners and building a high-impact growth channel
  • Drive partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, with clear ownership of commercial outcomes
  • Leverage your existing network to open doors, build the right partnerships, and accelerate growth in Canada
  • Lead partner relationships end-to-end, from sourcing and deal execution through activation and ongoing growth
  • Build and execute joint go-to-market plans with partners across campaigns, events, referrals, and co-selling motions
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, strategy, and leadership to make partnerships a meaningful part of the Canada growth strategy
  • Track performance closely, push for conversion, and raise the bar on partnership quality and impact
