Senior Growth Marketing Manager, AI Marketplace

SuperAnnotate AISan Francisco, CA
1d$165,000 - $195,000

About The Position

SuperAnnotate helps the world’s leading AI teams build responsible, next-generation models powered by high-quality human data. We’re a fast-growing Series B startup bridging the gap between advanced AI innovation and the data that drives it. Our global network of expert specialists, scalable managed operations, precise talent matching, and full project transparency ensure unmatched data quality at scale. Trusted by innovators like Databricks and ServiceNow - and backed by NVIDIA, Dell Technologies Capital, Databricks Ventures, Cox Enterprises, and Lionel Messi’s Play Time VC - SuperAnnotate is proud to be the top-ranked AI data company on G2 for multiple consecutive years, including 2025. The Impact You’ll Make This is a ground-floor opportunity — you'll be SuperAnnotate's first dedicated growth marketing hire, coming in to build the engine, not maintain one. We're looking for a growth operator who has built and scaled high-volume talent or contributor marketplaces and wants to own the supply-side growth engine at a fast-growing AI data company. As the Senior Growth Marketing Manager, you will own the growth strategy, funnel analytics, experimentation, and partner ecosystem that powers our talent supply across 50+ domain categories. You’ll treat talent acquisition as a growth and marketplace problem: Rapidly scaling top-of-funnel, identifying bottlenecks, proposing experiments, deeply understanding performance analytics, and driving execution so our teams can scale from demand spikes to steady-state delivery with minimal manual effort. You don’t need to be deeply technical, but you must be highly analytical, operationally sharp, hands-on, and comfortable partnering with Product and Engineering to automate what shouldn’t be manual. What You’ll Own in Your First 90 Days Deeply learn the funnel: Get fluent in existing funnel metrics, conversion rates, and how contributors move from first application to activation — and be able to clearly explain what's working and what isn't to leadership. Identify the gaps and propose early experiments: Develop hypotheses for where top-of-funnel performance can improve and bring forward test campaigns with clear rationale. Begin driving independent impact: Start contributing your own ideas for channel and conversion optimization, project-manage early contributor workflows, and demonstrate the ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-moving environment where context is built on the go.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in growth marketing, marketplace growth, or operations roles with direct ownership of acquisition and activation funnels (talent/workforce experience is a plus).
  • Proven track record scaling high-volume funnels: You've built and optimized channel strategies, run experiments, improved conversion rates, and scaled supply in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong analytical skills: You're comfortable with funnel analysis, KPI design, ROI modeling, and making smart decisions with imperfect data.
  • A bias for leverage and automation: You eliminate manual work, build systems that scale, and take full ownership from strategy through execution — you're given problems, not checklists.
  • Cross-functional influence: You can partner effectively with Product, Engineering, Operations, and leadership to drive decisions in ambiguous situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting AI/ML data operations, annotation workforces, or large-scale contributor marketplaces (e.g., data labeling, testing, trust & safety, crowdsourcing).
  • Experience with growth tooling and automation across sourcing/ops (ATS/CRM, outreach tools, workflow automation, vendor management systems, dashboards/BI).
  • Experience at a high-growth startup or marketplace company where you've worn multiple hats across growth, ops, and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global talent acquisition funnel as a growth problem: Build and optimize channel strategy, run acquisition experiments, manage partner ecosystems, and design qualification flows that scale efficiently from first application to activated contributor.
  • Drive multi-channel acquisition at scale: Launch and optimize paid channels (social, search, programmatic), develop creative and messaging for different talent segments, and manage partnerships with platforms, agencies, universities, and contractor networks to hit volume, quality, and cost targets.
  • Rapidly diagnose and fix performance issues using data: Analyze channel performance, conversion rates, activation drop-off, and cost-per-qualified contributor — then propose experiments and clear tradeoffs to leadership.
  • Execute rapid workforce ramps: Build growth systems that can quickly onboard 500–1,000+ contributors within 2–3 weeks by driving thousands of daily applications while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
  • Create visibility and alignment: Build dashboards and operating rhythms that keep leadership informed on supply health, conversion metrics, risks, and readiness for upcoming demand.
  • Partner cross-functionally: Work with Delivery Ops, Product, and Customer Success to forecast demand, translate it into growth plans, and ensure seamless contributor activation.
  • Lead with leverage: Manage a lean team and vendor resources focused on experimentation velocity and measurable outcomes.
  • Be the growth strategist: Present options with clear ROI analysis, recommend the path forward, and own execution from decision to results.
