Senior Games Technician
About The Position
The Senior Games Technician (SGT) builds, troubleshoots, and repairs games, attractions, and technical equipment in a guest-focused entertainment environment. SGTs help train and develop the Support Tech team. The position offers opportunities for career growth and pays $14.50–$17 per hour. The role requires hands-on electro-mechanical knowledge, the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, and component-level troubleshooting and repair skills. Team members provide friendly, available, and memorable guest service and help build the team’s knowledge by teaching others.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of electro-mechanics.
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level and perform repairs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
- Ability to work off an extension ladder.
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
- Ability to move about the facility and stand for long periods.
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
