$70,000 - $95,000Remote

About The Position

WeMaintain is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Product & Engineering team. This is a fully remote role based in Europe. The company focuses on transforming building maintenance through technology, trust, and people. With a recent acquisition by Otis, WeMaintain is poised for significant growth and impact. The role involves owning features end-to-end, working across the entire technology stack, and collaborating closely with product managers, the CTO, and CPO. The company utilizes a modern tech stack including TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, AWS, PostgreSQL, Angular, and React Native. The engineer will contribute to improving the company's tooling, developer experience, and production resilience. The role offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems such as normalizing failure data, processing real-time IoT data, and implementing AI-driven workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building and running production software.
  • Experience owning a feature from problem statement to production.
  • Comfortable working across the full stack.
  • Strong in TypeScript and modern backend architecture.
  • Ability to talk to non-technical stakeholders, understand their needs, and deliver solutions.
  • At ease working fully remotely and taking initiative to stay connected.
  • English as the working language.

Nice To Haves

  • Thinking like an owner; having started, run, or helped build something of your own.
  • Shipped a React Native app used by real people in difficult conditions.
  • Experience in an operations-heavy business (field service, logistics, industrial, energy).
  • Experience putting AI-driven workflows into production.
  • Experience building internal tooling, codegen, or developer-experience work.
  • Experience with IoT, telemetry, or time-series data at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own features end to end: the problem statement, what the solution should look like, the implementation, and getting it into production.
  • Work across the whole stack, being comfortable with both backend and frontend development.
  • Shape the work by collaborating with PMs, the CTO, CPO, and operations people.
  • Take engineering standards forward by improving tooling, the mono-repo, developer experience, and production resilience.
  • Contribute to normalizing failure data for lifts.
  • Transform real-time IoT signals into actionable insights for field engineers.
  • Implement agent-in-the-loop workflows in the back office.

Benefits

  • Real autonomy, with modern tools and strong support
  • A culture built on trust, transparency and respect
  • Genuine opportunities for growth and internal mobility
  • Team that values commitment, perseverance and the drive to make things happen
  • Full remote work
  • Team get-togethers in person at least three times a year
