About The Position

The Corporate Communications Manager (m/f/x) leads the communicative design and implementation of Qlar’s strategic positioning and transformation journey. Embedded in the CEO Office and based in Darmstadt, the role owns the group-wide corporate communications agenda and translates strategy, Value Creation Plan (VCP) priorities and business developments into a clear, credible and consistent narrative for internal and external stakeholders. It combines strategic communication ownership with hands-on content creation and day-to-day delivery across corporate communication channels and formats.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • First to several years of relevant experience in corporate communications, internal communications, PR, content creation, change communication or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills in German and English.
  • Creative, proactive and hands-on working style with strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Willingness to personally create, edit and deliver communication content across written, visual and digital formats, rather than solely managing external providers.
  • Strong instinct for modern, authentic and engaging communication formats, including short-form video, interviews, storytelling and social-media content.
  • Flexible, resilient and comfortable operating in a dynamic transformation environment, including occasional time-critical delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digital communication channels, social media, intranet/SharePoint, website content management and agency coordination is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Qlar’s group-wide corporate communications approach, agenda and editorial calendar.
  • Prepare clear and audience-appropriate communication on group strategy, vision, VCP initiatives and business developments.
  • Drive regular, modern and two-way internal communication formats, including Management News, Global and Local Town Halls, functional and departmental updates, SharePoint content and dialogue formats.
  • Ensure that leadership-level communication is translated into practical local and functional relevance: what changes, what happens next, who is affected and what support is available.
  • Partner for internal stakeholders in the creation of a coherent corporate communication framework.
  • Gather feedback, identify communication needs and continuously improve the effectiveness, reach and relevance of communication formats and channels.
  • Drive a continuous flow of external corporate communication to strengthen Qlar’s visibility, reputation and stakeholder confidence.
  • Manage corporate content across LinkedIn, corporate website sections (e.g. About Us, Careers, Sustainability, Investor Relations and Press), press releases, corporate presentations and image materials.
  • Ensure consistent external messaging on Qlar’s strategy, transformation, culture, reputation and thought-leadership topics, in close alignment with Management and Group Marketing.
  • Work closely with external agencies and service providers to deliver high-quality, efficient and on-brand communication materials.
