Senior Fullstack Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our remote team at Customer.io. As a collaborative and product-minded individual, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems and contribute to the development of our performant platform. Your responsibilities will include writing well-architected services in Go and Node, defining and building new features and infrastructure, and providing support to our customers. • Be a model and mentor for writing well-architected, well-tested, and easy-to-understand services in Go and Node
• Apply your unique perspective to help define and build the next generation of features and infrastructure
• Work with tech support teams to diagnose operational issues and help customers achieve their goals with the product
• Take an active role in a friendly, supportive squad that encourages personal and professional growth
• Mentor coworkers through code review, pair programming, team collaboration, and training to improve collective knowledge and best practices
• Have an independent mindset and excellent communication skills to make significant decisions in an empathetic and respectful way
• Build frontend experiences that delight customers
• Have a deep understanding of working with extensive datasets and building performant distributed applications on cloud infrastructure, preferably in Go
• Have experience building a Customer Data Platform (CDP)
• Work with customers and apply a deep understanding of their needs to produce timely solutions
• Have the ability to quickly and independently dig into complex problems, identify critical factors, and propose solutions with limited mentorship
• Overlap 6 working hours on ET time zone to interact with the team
• Comfort working in UNIX environments and applying modern collaborative development practices
• Experience working with RDB systems, preferably MySQL
• Preferably over 7 years of relevant experience
