About The Position

Invicti Security is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build customer-facing product features across a Vue front end, GraphQL APIs, and C#/.NET back-end services. The engineer will partner with Product Managers and UX designers from the earliest stages, investigate customer problems and assumptions, and help choose solutions that deliver customer value. The role emphasizes usability, accessibility, performance, consistent design, and ownership of features from initial design through production. The engineer will design and evolve GraphQL schemas, develop reusable UI components and shared design-system packages, and improve performance, scalability, and maintainability across client and server. They will use AI-assisted tools in their development workflow, carefully review AI-generated code, tests, and designs, and help shape team practices for AI use. The position also involves mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and improving code quality through reviews. The front-end stack includes TypeScript, Vue 3 and the Composition API, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, Tailwind CSS, component libraries, Apollo Client, Vite, and pnpm workspaces. The back end uses C# and modern .NET, server-side GraphQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, and relational data modeling. Quality and delivery tools include Vitest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin, .NET testing, Git, CI/CD, the Atlassian stack, Google Workspace, and Figma. Strong Angular or React experience may be suitable for candidates willing to switch to Vue. Invicti Security develops an application security platform and serves more than 3,600 organizations worldwide. The company describes the role as hybrid and offers a flexible schedule, discretionary time off subject to manager approval, quarterly wellness days, paid volunteer time, a learning and development budget, and employee recognition. Specific healthcare benefits vary by region; the posting names Allianz Premium and invites candidates to ask about regional offerings.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of single-page application frameworks, including reactivity, state management, routing, and component architecture.
  • Strong C#/.NET back-end fundamentals, including API design, authentication and authorization, error handling, and performance.
  • Understanding of asynchronous data flows, caching strategies, and API integration using GraphQL and REST.
  • Strong command of modern CSS, responsive layouts, design tokens, and utility-first frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
  • Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), front-end performance (Core Web Vitals), and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Customer-first product mindset, with an ability to start from user problems and use data and feedback to assess outcomes.
  • Ownership of quality from initial design discussions through production behavior.
  • Willingness to learn new frameworks and AI tools.
  • Clear communication and a collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient written and spoken English.
  • Fluency with AI coding assistants and agents for exploring, scaffolding, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
  • Ability to critically review AI-generated changes and identify subtle bugs, security gaps, invented APIs, over-engineering, and architectural drift.
  • Ability to provide AI with clear specifications, scoped tasks, and project guidance such as AGENTS.md files and team conventions.
  • Good judgment about when AI is useful and when manual work is faster or safer.
  • Accountability for code shipped, regardless of who or what produced it.
  • Experience with TypeScript and Vue 3 with the Composition API, or strong Angular or React experience and willingness to switch.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, Tailwind CSS, and PrimeVue or a comparable component library.
  • Experience with Apollo Client, schema-first development, and GraphQL type code generation.
  • Experience with Vite and pnpm workspaces in a monorepo.
  • Experience building and extending Web APIs and back-end services with C# and modern .NET.
  • Knowledge of server-side GraphQL schema design, resolvers, pagination, batching, and query performance, including N+1 avoidance.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, and relational data modeling.
  • Experience with Vitest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin BDD end-to-end scenarios, and unit and integration testing in .NET.
  • Familiarity with Git, GitLab CI/CD or a similar CI system, the Atlassian stack, Google Workspace, and Figma.

Nice To Haves

  • Web application security fundamentals such as the OWASP Top 10.
  • Experience building LLM-based product features or agentic workflows.
  • Experience with containers and cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Build customer-facing features across the Vue front end, GraphQL API, and C#/.NET back-end services.
  • Partner with Product Managers and UX designers early, question requirements, test assumptions with evidence, and propose options that maximize customer value.
  • Maintain product usability, accessibility, speed, and visual consistency.
  • Assess the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and agree on trade-offs with the UX team.
  • Design and evolve GraphQL schemas for ease of UI consumption and efficient server resolution.
  • Build reusable components, composables, and libraries for shared UI packages and the design system.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and review AI-generated code, tests, and designs before merging.
  • Help establish team AI practices, including shared guidelines, agent instructions, and review standards.
  • Improve performance, scalability, and maintainability on the client and server.
  • Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and raise code quality through reviews.
  • Use data and feedback to assess whether features solve users’ problems.
  • Own the quality and production behavior of shipped code, regardless of whether it was written by a person or AI.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work environment and flexible schedule.
  • Discretionary time off, subject to manager approval.
  • One company-wide wellness day per quarter.
  • Five days of paid volunteer time each year.
  • Learning and development budget.
  • Ongoing employee recognition and rewards.
  • Healthcare benefits vary by region; the posting names Allianz Premium and advises candidates to ask about specific regional benefits.
