About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Java) to architect, design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems operating at significant scale across multiple business domains. The role covers the end-to-end engineering lifecycle: translating business requirements into robust technical designs, writing production-quality code, deploying cloud-native services, and supporting them throughout their operational lifespan. The position is 100% remote in the U.S., full-time, direct W2, with an annual salary range of $100,000–$150,000. Applicants may include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates; the company cannot sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience building production-grade enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, computational complexity, and end-to-end system design principles.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Java versions 11 and 17, Spring Boot, and clean, idiomatic RESTful API design.
  • Production-level experience designing and operating microservices architectures, including service decomposition, inter-service communication, and observability patterns.
  • Experience developing front-end applications using React.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, including query tuning and schema design.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based version control workflows, including branching strategies, code reviews, and release management.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications to at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including familiarity with managed services, networking, and identity primitives.

Nice To Haves

  • Working familiarity with Angular or Vue.
  • Experience designing and operating event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent streaming platforms.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Exposure to distributed system design principles such as eventual consistency, CAP trade-offs, idempotency, and saga patterns.
  • Experience writing automation tests using modern frameworks and contributing to test-driven and behavior-driven development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems.
  • Translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
  • Write production-quality code.
  • Deploy cloud-native services and support them through their operational lifespan.
