About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution. The role is based in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, or Plano, TX. This position requires a highly skilled developer with 9+ years of experience in enterprise application development, focusing on Java-based backend development, modern front-end technologies, system integrations, and CI/CD deployment practices. Experience in financial service environments is highly desirable.

Requirements

9+ years of experience in enterprise application development with Java/J2EE
Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring framework
Good knowledge of REST web services
Basic knowledge of SQL queries

Nice To Haves

Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to organize and manage multiple competing tasks and priorities in a rapidly changing environment
Working knowledge of defect management processes, Risk Framework, and Enterprise Testing standards
Exposure to the banking domain, particularly treasury/payment systems
Strong competency in requirement analysis, task prioritization, and risk identification
Experience with an Onshore/Offshore model
Highly motivated, able to work independently with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain existing Java technologies (Spring Boot, Spring framework)
Collaborate with business and other team members to translate requirements into scalable software
Utilize the Angular tech stack to build and enhance client-facing user interfaces
Design solutions and build reusable components using design patterns
Handle application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support
Adhere to coding standards and contribute to peer code reviews
Document technical specifications and deployment instructions
