About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Engineer to lead and execute large-scale document and metadata migration initiatives from IBM FileNet P8 repositories to a modern MongoDB-based content platform. The contractor will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Apache Spark-based migration solutions capable of processing millions to billions of documents while ensuring data integrity, metadata accuracy, auditability, and operational reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Apache Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL, DataFrames, optimization, and tuning) for processing millions to billions of records
• 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms such as IBM FileNet P8, OpenText, or similar systems
• 3+ years of experience with MongoDB, including collection design, schema modeling, aggregation framework, and bulk ingestion
• Experience with Database Technologies such as Oracle, SQL optimization, data extraction, validation, and ETL development
• Proficiency in Programming with Python, PySpark, and Shell Scripting (Java preferred)

• Utilize expertise in distributed data processing, enterprise content management platforms, and document repositories
• Manage metadata mapping, indexing strategies, and reconciliation processes
